Thank you for considering a donation to Cape Area Habitat. Each gift you make helps a family in need of decent shelter. All Cape Area Habitat donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes. Gifts made on-line are safe, thanks to our secure-server capability and will be put to good use by Habitat. We take seriously our responsibility to contributors, to those counting on our help to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us.
We raise all our funds locally and receive no funding from Habitat for Humanity International. We support the efforts of Habitat for Humanity International by tithing 10% of all donations, unless the donation is restricted to be used in Cape Area.
It’s not just cash that we are in need of, however. To reduce building costs, Habitat relies on donations of tools and construction materials from individuals as well as local business owners. We also are always looking for new pieces of land on which to construct future Habitat homes!

Tributes & Memorials
You can designate your gift to be used as a tribute to a special person in your life in honor of birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, promotions, or just because they are a super person! Additionally, you can also designate gifts in memory of loved ones lost. All you need to do is indicate this on the online donation form, or write it on your check. Habitat will send you the thank you letter for tax purposes, and will send a card either to the honoree, or to the family of the deceased. Be sure that you include the name and address of the recipient of the card.
